Theater offers an opportunity for student performers to create make-believe, yet real-life characters from whom we can learn about life. It is an expressive art, allowing us to learn to be comfortable in front of and around people. We can explore our inner selves, to channel our thoughts and our energy towards a productive and worthwhile goal, and communicate our thoughts, feelings, and ideas to an audience of listeners.
